The wealth of good quality trail riding in the area surrounding the Langdale Valley is some of the best in the UK and for those that like their trails man made Grizedale can be included in a long ride and Whinlatter is not far away. These routes will include some road riding to link the trails together.

All the routes start and finish at The Langdale Estate and are graded Easy, Moderate or Hard.

 

Gentle = suitable for families, novices, bad weather and most types of bikes

 

Moderate = suitable for mountain bikes, short to medium length hills, downhill with sections which may be challenging

 

Hard = longer rides with many or sustained uphill sections, steep and technical descents, remote locations
